At the end of June we visited Brookshire Steel to tour the facility and look into the materials they had to offer. We found that all of the metal needed for our project was in stock and would be readily available. While visiting Brookshire Steel with a revised supply list, we got an exact quote which would give us a guide on how much money we would be spending for the entire project. We were able to retain some advise from workers of the facility and used their expertise on metal to determine the size and strength of the metal we would need. We were able to determine sizes, look at prices, and in the end were able to obtain a quotation from the company. It came out to be about $1,750. A price we thought was very reasonable and a lot lower than we imagined it would be. After working with the cashier of the establishment we were approached by the manager of the facility. After a brief discussion he was eager to inform us that since we were buying the material for a high school project that he would work with us to make the purchase more affordable. We were then given a number and email to reach him and had the understanding that he would be interested in helping us achieve our end goal.
